Artists in Residence at Edgewood Cottage Returns for Fall Series

The historic Edgewood Cottage will once again open its doors to artists and visitors for Artists in Residence at Edgewood Cottage, a showcase featuring rotating local artists, demonstrations, and opportunities to purchase original artwork directly from the creators. Well-known as a summer program, the popular series returns for a month-long showcase this fall. Another Month of Creativity and Connection Running from September 28 through November 1, the event highlights different artists each week, transforming the cottage into both a gallery and a creative workspace. The event aims to promote local talent, support the arts community, and create meaningful connections between artists and the public. Visitors are encouraged to stop in throughout the month, as each week offers a new collection of artwork with different artistic perspectives. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Hours are 10am to 5pm daily. The historic Edgewood Cottage is located on the “Cultural Corner” at Main Street and Ginny Stevens Lane in Blowing Rock.
