Foundations Program Exhibition Reception

Transformations is an exhibition featuring work from classes in the Foundations Program curricula of the Department of Art. It explores the many different transformative processes that students experience as they grapple with the creative process like mixing colors, finding forms, and making marks, as well as perceptive or personal transformations like learning to see, gaining confidence, or connecting to community. Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition with students and faculty in the Art Department’s Foundations program on Wednesday October 28, from 5-7pm at the Art Department’s Smith Gallery at the Schaefer Center. This event is open to the public, all are welcome. Student work will be on view October 19- October 30. The Smith Gallery is open Monday through Friday 10am-5pm.
