Introduction to Nature Journaling

In coordination with BRAHM’s exhibit “Field Studies,” we will be hosting a nature journaling workshop at the Blue Ridge Conservancy Conservation Campus at 416 Aho Road, Blowing Rock. BRAHM Education Director Jennifer Garonzik will lead participants on a nature journaling exploration of the BRCCC streamside property. Participants will explore the local ecosystem plants and wildlife through observation, sketching in pencil, watercolor pencil, ink and wash on paper. Sketchbooks and art materials will be provided for this workshop. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy together from 12:00-1:00 in the BRCCC classroom. Website
