Local Author Book Signing – Alicia Bynum

Local author, Alicia Bynum, is joining us in the vines with an exclusive book signing of her newest and first release, ‘ Rivers and Roads ’. Alicia is an Appalachian author and advocate passionate about protecting public lands, expanding access to mental health care across the Appalachian region, and researching the connections between nature and wellbeing. She made her literary debut in 2026 with her first novel, Rivers and Roads, published by Mountain Girl Press. ‘Rivers and Roads’ explores complex familial bonds and grief against a backdrop of Appalachian culture. The narrative follows an adventurous road trip from the East Coast to the West Coast, highlighting healing, self-discovery, and a sense of belonging found through travel and new cultural experiences.
