MICHELLE AMATO QUARTET

In the Mast Store Community Room @ AppTheatre Michelle Amato Quartet – Michelle Amato returns to the High Country to share more of her extensive repertoire from The Great American Songbook, as well as jazz and pop favorites from around the world. an American vocalist; she trained at the University of Miami School of Music. She has toured and/or recorded with numerous artists including Quincy Jones, Jon Secada, Liza Minnelli, Al Green, Sandi Patti, Jon Hendricks, Donna Summer, Michael McDonald, Celia Cruz, Rita Marley, and has been a featured soloist with the Memphis Symphony and the South Florida Pops. She has performed with Yanni during the 2003-2004 Ethnicity tour and her featured solo work can be heard on that CD. She also toured with him during the 2005 Yanni Live! tour and appears on the resulting live concert film Yanni Live! The Concert Event. You can also hear Amato’s voice in many Disney recordings, as well as singing in the Disney park stage shows, parades, and firework shows. She is currently part of the renowned jazz faculty at the University of North Florida.
