North Carolina Annual Inclusion Summit

The Special Education Program at Appalachian State University, in collaboration with special education professionals from teacher preparation programs across the state, invites you to attend the North Carolina Annual Inclusion Summit (NCAIS)!The NCAIS is a conference dedicated to fostering dialogue and collaboration among presenters and attendees regarding inclusive practices across the lifespan. It is also designed to provide a meaningful platform for discussions and professional development pertaining to current practices, innovative strategies, and to explore the future of inclusivity for all underrepresented groups.We invite individuals with exceptionalities and varied learning needs, practitioners from all related education fields (e.g., teachers, administrators, related service providers, community-based service providers), families, advocates, policymakers, community leaders, researchers, students, and other relevant parties to participate as well as present at the conference. Additionally, participants are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEUs) or contact towards professional certification.
